Every morning the Romi from their neighborhood to the north filter through Trakiya with their souped up strollers and bikes working their way from dumpster to dumpster.

With the construction of Trakiya manifesting parts of the ideology of communism, many of the first floor apartments of the panel blocks were given to Roma, in attempts to integrate them into the population. However, When communism fell, there was a great migration: Romi to the neighborhood north of Trakiya, and the ethnic Bulgarians from that neighborhood into Trakiya.

Some did stay and still live in their first floor apartments.
