“Създаване на ежедневието” was an exhibition event created to visually and physically bring together the architects and the inhabitants of the standardized Soviet neighborhood of Trakiya built in the 1970s. Images representing the efforts of the architects through the design process and those of the inhabitants through their everyday living and appropriation process were combined together into collages and exhibited. Each collage was given a verb as a title.
The strategic spatial layout of the exhibition along the main road in the large central park of the neighborhood gathered people into a small space with the collages surrounding them. Architects and inhabitants found themselves together in a single place for the first time ever, confronted by their shared efforts in the creation of Trakiya. The stories of a neighborhood 50 years in the making were sparked, overheard, and intertwined.
