Sprinkled among even the oldest of the blocks of Trakiya are shiny new buildings.

These buildings, many poorly built throughout the late 90’s and early 2000’s, never functioned properly. Their concrete not allowed to dry before being outfitted, their connections never being completed, or simply built with terrible materials – they leak water and they settle, leaving gaps in windows and floors, and impressively, deteriorating faster than the much older panel blocks.
