Throughout the communist years the heating was provided, it was central heating, paid for by the state. Most everyone speaks fondly of the memories of how they used to go around in tank tops in the house in the winter.
Now a days the central heating is too expensive and people have resorted to adding electric air conditioning units, slapping intake apparatuses to the outside panel and drilling a hole through the panel to the sleek wall mounted unit on the inside.
